Privacy
This is the pre-launch text and describes what the service stores today. Questions and deletion requests: hello@screensay.com.
What we store
- The video URLs you submit, the jobs you start, and the documents produced from them.
- A per-video cache of the downloaded video, its frame hashes and the sampled frames, so that a repeat request for the same video is served without downloading or re-reading it. The cache is not served to anyone and is deleted on request.
- Your email address, plan and billing status, and usage records (minutes analyzed, per day) needed to bill you.
- API keys, stored hashed; only a prefix is kept in clear for display.
- Webhook URLs and delivery attempts for monitors you create.
- For the free preview, the requesting IP address for rate limiting (3 previews per IP per hour).
What we do not do
- We do not use your content or the documents to train models.
- Payment details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
How long
- Free preview results are cached by video id for 7 days.
- Finished documents and the per-video cache are kept until you delete them or ask us to. A fixed retention period will be published here before the service opens for paid use, and it will not be longer than what this page says at that time.
- Account and usage records are kept while your account exists and as long as required for accounting afterwards.
Who else sees it
Frames and transcripts are sent to Google's Gemini API for analysis under its paid-tier terms, which do not permit Google to train on them. Stripe processes payments. Webhook payloads go to the endpoints you configure. No other third party receives your content.
